In 1901, the alumnae of Theta Chapter from the University of Denver formed the Colorado Alumnae Association of Gamma Phi Beta. They held monthly meetings and in the June 1903 issue of The Crescent, Theta members wrote, " It might be mentioned in passing that Theta is particularly happy in her alumnae, who can be counted upon to stand by the active chapter under all circumstances." Each Christmas, Theta and the alumnae group had dinner to raise money for Craig Colony, a settlement for tubercular men. On Arbor Day, the chapters would plant a tree or bush at the Gamma Phi Beta lodge.

Denver Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta was officially formed in the fall of 1907 by eight of the original Thetas from the Colorado Alumnae Association and four women from other chapters. Denver was the seventh alumnae chapter of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

Officers included:
• Winifred Willard - President
• Mary Crany Moore - Vice President
• Margaret McNeil - Secretary
• Inez Ridgeway - Treasurer

During the 1930's Denver had two Gamma Phi Beta alumnae chapters. From 1930 to 1939 Denver of Tau Alumnae Chapter attracted sisters from Tau Chapter who moved to Denver.
